Using breathing exercises to reduce stress isn't exactly a new concept, but as this video from Big Think explains, there's a special technique that may work better than deep breathing. It's called the power breath, and you do it by making your exhalations last twice as long as your inhalations. The goal is to fool yourself into thinking youâre more relaxed than you actually areâ"otherwise known as "fake it till you make it."
